Year in Review – 5th Favorite Moment of 2011

My opportunities to write for fun were few and far between in 2011. As I look back, that makes what modest productivity I did have that much more of a highlight for me.

Joe Manganiello inspired so many erotic imaginations this year!

The hot and inspired imagination of collaborator Metellus kept me on task when I had the time to write homoerotic fiction. Together, we sketched out even more matches than I managed to complete. But I’m quite proud of the work we did complete together this year, including a tag team match in the Producer’s Ring between the team of Gerard Butler and Henry Cavill facing the monsters of True Blood represented by Mechad Brooks and phenom Joe Manganiello. Joe is nearly worthy of being a highlight of 2011 all his own, but it’s the image of him flat on his back, conquered, with Henry Cavill working out a victory load over top of big Joe’s mountainous pecs that stands out in particular for me.

My choice to pound Taylor into the mat?
Hugh Jackman

That tag team match was a follow up to Joe’s debut in the Producer’s Ring, appearing at the very end of 2010 in the Werewolf Rumble, a three-way free-for-all in which he came out victorious over both Taylor Lautner and Russell Tovey. There was groundswell of reader demand to also see Taylor get his 1-on-1 initiation in the Producer’s Ring after that. It took me months and months of pecking away at it in spare moments, but I finally pieced together a Focus Group loser-gets-fucked match with returning fantasy man, Hugh Jackman.  I was awfully pleased, both just to complete the project and with the particular manner in which Hugh “welcomes” hot piece of ass, Taylor, to the big leagues.

Mateus Verdelho is ready for some back alley action.

Another Metellus collaboration resulted in the first of what I hope will be a series of stories in the Producer’s Ring under the title Global Cooperation. It’s a bar fight, really, but in the homoerotic wrestling universe in my imagination, every contention is settled by hot, sweaty, hard wrestling. In this case, the Secretarial Pool is introduced to some of the executive assistants from corporate competitors in the cut throat world of the entertainment industrial complex.  Refined David Gandy and hunky Noah  Mills let off some after-work steam all over the hot, raw bodies of Mateus Verdelho and Tyler McPeak. There are stories yet to be written, hopefully soon, to see more of all four of these hot, hot hunks!

Spike makes his second appearance in the ring in
Brothers in Arms Chapter 5

I managed to get out 2 new chapters in the superhero series “Brothers in Arms” over in Sidelineland. That’s another reader request from way back that has taken on a life of its own and made me very happy with the way the series is unfolding. Both original characters, brothers Hank and Brett, are finally enjoying both success in competition and a satisfying sex life. I have a few more chapters sketched out that I hope to see hit the page before 2012 is over with.

The Former Champ, Mickey:
Shane’s new partner?

In 2011 I received a rather hot and provocative proposal from a reader who sent me the first half of a match he’d written, challenging me to write the second half and climax. I love the novelty of this particular form of a collaboration so much that I managed a third installment for Sidelineland, which itself is still waiting for a part 2 to be written. Poor hunky Shane got in way over his head from the moment he hatched his plan to break into the world of local professional wrestling by calling in a favor from his old high school “buddy.” Hot, savvy little hardbody Mikey gives Shane his first taste of victory in the ring, but it’s the High Rollers club confrontation to come, in which wealthy fans pay to see the action up close and much more intimate, that’s still to be written.

Ripped model Cobus Jonker has a secret fantasy:
becoming a homoerotic wrestling heel!

Metellus also was the brains of the operation in getting word and picture to paper for a BG East fantasy match for Sidelineland in which rookie heel hopeful Cobus nearly manages to upend and unmask the infamous stud heel extraordinaire, Enforcer. Things don’t quite go Cobus’ way, but his debut was enough to raise some eyebrows from the powers-that-be. Could another Cobus match see the light of day in 2012?

Allusions to Slater

My final match of 2011 was one of those that consumes me. The concept for Cock of the Walk grew like a seed in my mind, quickly sprouting, taking root, and growing out of control until I dropped it fully formed in Sidelineland. The idea was an homage to Naked Kombat (RIP), featuring pornboy muscle hunks in submission ring wrestling. The first hot, hung hunk to give up is forced to endure not only the jeering of the crowd, but a post-match sexual humiliation at the hands of both his victor and the victorious manager. As so often happens in my imagination, maturity and grit conquer youthful cockiness, as Latino hunk Paolo beats the odds and fucks senseless the young, black muscle freak Slater.

New readers may not realize that my writing homoerotic wrestling fiction actually pre-dates neverland, and in many ways its at the heart of what draws me to keep this little blog engine chugging along. While I didn’t get to write as much this year, as I look back, many of my favorite moments have come from getting back to basics, letting my wrestling kink imagination fly, and sharing what turns me on. For everywhere my imagination takes me and all the countless hours of erotic stimulation in provides, I’m happy to celebrate some fine, satisfying moments in fiction this year. Cheers!

Year in Review – Favorite Moment #2

My second favorite moment in blogging in 2010 has been the rise of the collaborative spirit in my little homoerotic wrestling fiction universe. Late last year I started a sister-site to my homoerotic wrestling fiction collection, the Producer’s Ring. Sidelineland was intended to be a place where writers and readers could share their original fiction, give and receive feedback, and collaborate on projects. I’ve posted several of my non-Producer’s Ring-related fiction there, including some BG East fantasy fiction as well as my stab at a reader-request superhero piece that I’m getting more and more into as I’m starting to write chapter 4.

I was thrilled to see reader contributions start to come in for Sidelineland in 2010. Nipmuck, Austin, Swito, Bearhugs and Robeboy have all put up some hot wrestling fiction text to share. I find that reading the wrestling fiction of others is a major turn-on. Stepping into the imagination of another wrestling kinkster and being drawn to the details that spark their kink arousal is potent, intimate, arousing stuff, as far a I’m concerned.

Another sweet turn-on has been collaborating on stories with other authors. I can be a little bit of a control freak, so I wasn’t sure how this would turn out. When Swito first proposed a joint project, I was eager but cautious. He was keen to get his hands into the plotline of the Secretarial Pool in the Producer’s Ring, just as I was loosing some steam with that plot. Swito’s got a soft spot for Andrew Stetson, and he’s got something understandably hard for Andrew taking a beating. So Andrew’s surprise beatdown and fall from grace at the hands of Aussie Rugby centerfold Nick Youngquest emerged from Swito’s first authorship and my filling in some details here and there. Part 2 of that story was also a joint effort, with me picking up the primary text as Nick handed Andrew over to Ashton for a full squash reckoning of Andrew’s overdrawn accounts.

A third collaboration with Swito last Spring was 95% his concepts and text, with me just tinkering at the margins. He wrote the fantastic scenario of Chris Hemsworth getting a reality check on his way to collect the fame and fortune that’s just about to cash in from playing the Norse god/superhero Thor. My #1 vampire crush, Alexander Skarsgård, was one Swede none to happy that Hollywood passed over true Norsemen to hand the legendary role to an upstart Aussie.

This autumn I was approached by Bearhugs who wanted to suggest a match for me to write, but I cleverly turned the tables on him and made him co-author the piece with me. The story of a closet-case conservative political operative who gets worked over physically, sexually, and psychologically by a hot sado/wrestling kinked “threesome” (also the title of the match) was very much a joint effort.

To follow up, Bearhugs recently sent me a pro-wrestling match of his own (now posted at Sidelineland as “Shane’s Big Break,”) cleverly turning the tables back on me with a cocky little challenge for me to write “part 2” of Shane’s Big Break, as the action continues in the locker room. Never one to back down from a challenge (and, not surprisingly, turned on by it), I’m already  working on a draft of how things turn from bad to worse for poor Shane who was just hoping for a square shot at pro-wrestling stardom.

The final collaboration that I’m celebrating this year developed from an email request from Metellus. He’s been hands-on every step of the way as we’re working to bring his BG East fantasy match to life, soon to be posted at Sidelineland. Metellus has supplied the protagonist (breakout blond South African sixpack model, Cobus Jonker), and together we’ve selected for his debut bout one of the most merciless masked musclehunks that BGE has to offer, The Enforcer. At first glance, it seems like Cobus finds his way into the ring with BGE’s resident beast-of-few-words out of sheer chance, but he turns out to be no doe-eyed rookie being led like a lamb to slaughter. Enforcer has his big, strong hands quite full, and the boys of BGE can’t help but be impressed with Cobus’ bid to set up shop as their new resident babyface heel.

Damn, I love this! Even my massively endowed imagination (if I do say so myself) couldn’t have thought up all of these fantastically hot scenarios on my own. The give and take, the ins and outs of homoerotic wrestling fiction collaborations have been thoroughly delightful, inspiring, and absolutely arousing. As I toast to a year of working together, I’m also hoping to read more from the imaginations of more wrestling kinksters in the new year, and looking forward to continued successful collaborations to come!

Boundary Crossing

I’m a fan of good grooming. That said, good grooming does not always mean the same thing to all men in all circumstances, as far as I’m concerned. For example, a shaved head can be one of the hottest looks in the world. Give me Lon Dumont’s head trapped in my face-to-crotch scissor hold with me rubbing the palms of my hands all over his baby-smooth pate any day (no, seriously, gimme!). But the sight of Lanny Love getting literally thrown across the ring by nothing but his long locks makes me gasp with pleasure. I know that there are strong opinions on shaving body hair out there, but again, for me, there’s no one right way to groom a gorgeous hunk. Gil Barrios and Skip Vance smooth from chin to toe as they wrestle has an undeniable erotic charm for me. Then again, Derek da Silva with a delicious winter coat and hairy legs will entertain me for hours and hours.

I’ve been noticing that lately a particular thrill I’m getting at the pube tease pose that seems to be “a thing.” The hot, hard hunk tugging at his trunks/underwear, giving just a glimpse of his dark curls, is just sending me into fits these days. Don’t get me wrong, I love the full monty as much as the next guy (more!), but there’s something playful, seductive, and intensely erotic about the playful tease shot, as if BGE classic wrestling hunk, Greg Leary, is just begging you to help him out of those barely on briefs.

Male models seem to be all over the pube tease these days. Photographer Rick Day in particular seems to get a ton of traction from the boundary crossing pose that just dares the censors to put up a fight. A helpful reader of this blog recently pointed out Rick Day blondboy, Cobus Jonker, illustrating just the good grooming that’s taking my breath away.

Another Rick Day boytoy delight, Karl Wehle looks like he’s been crushed in the ring, thrown around by that fantastic rats nest on top of his head, and is finally stripping down to shower off the sweat and humiliation sticking to him. The stop-action aspect of this pose just sucks me right in. I’m desperate to lend a hand, to help the story move from where he’s just come from to where he’s clearly heading. Anyday, anytime, Karl, I’ve got that hand free for you (two, in fact).

Researching this theme, I was delighted to stumble across this gorgeous shot of Dane Tarsen, another BGE classic wrestling god. The tan line, the dark patch peeking out over this thumb hooked and pulling at the front of his yellow trunks… everything is so fantastically proportioned that his crotch just seems like a bulls eye. I love me some Dane tying up some unsuspecting punk.

Header boy, Jared Prudoff and this tasty low-slung pic of model boy Sean Sullivan illustrate what it is that catches my eye and makes me desperate to write images like these into my wrestling fiction. It’s a boundary crossing, both literally and figuratively, from PG-rated to NSFW, from the erotic to erotica. It’s the hint of things to come, the tease challenging you and me to see if we can throw these taunting punks to the floor and rip their useless trunks the rest of the way off. It’s a small thing. It’s coy and demure. But it’s also a power switch sending volts of electricity charging through my erotic imagination.
